Spanish Channel A3 Gets Rights For Animated Monsters TV Specials

Antena 3, a Spanish broadcaster, has nabbed the rights to air TV holiday specials based on MONSTERS VS. ALIENS and MADAGASCAR, Variety reports.

During Halloween, A3 will air MONSTERS VS. ALIENS: MUTANT PUMPKINS FROM OUTER SPACE and MERRY MADAGASCAR is scheduled to broadcast for Christmas.

In 2007, the broadcaster aired another DreamWorks TV special, SHREK THE HALLS" and took a 37.3 share with 6.9 million viewers on Dec. 25.
