Latin American distribution specialist Salsa Entertainment returned from MIPCOM 2002 with a slate of program sales for the Latin American region. The Salsa Entertainment catalogue features award-winning products from well known international producers and distributors including TV-Loonland, Scholastic Entertainment, Decode Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company. Notable deals include Scholastic Entertainment's CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG to Discovery Latin America and sales of TV-Loonland's GENERATION O!, Henson's BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE, CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG and a package of films to FETV (Panama). Telecentro in the Dominican Republic has acquired GENERATION O!, BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE, FARSCAPE, THE ZACK FILES and a package of films. Finally, RCTV (Venezuela), TC TV (Ecuador) and Televisa (Mexico) have acquired a package of TV-Loonland Christmas Specials.
