ER Secures Distribution Deal For New Episodes Of Transformers Animated

Entertainment Rights has secured distribution rights to the latest 13 episodes for the new TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED series, bringing the total number of episodes of the series currently available to 42 (42x22). The announcement follows on the heels of Cartoon Network in the U.S. having confirmed the commission of an additional 13 episodes for delivery in spring 2009.

Following success at MIPCOM, the Global Television Market, the new 13 episodes have generated international interest and new deals have been secured in the U.K., France, Italy, Mexico and well as pan regional deals within both Asia and Latin America. Newly confirmed partners will be announced in the coming weeks.

These new deals follow sales concluded for the original series (1x29),which has been sold to date in over 80 territories, including key international broadcast platforms; Mediaset (Italy), Turner Broadcasting (Australia, Latin America and India), Jetix (Israel, Netherlands and Belgium), Network 10 (Australia), TV3 (New Zealand), Mediacorp TV12 (Singapore), TV Globo (Brazil), Nickelodeon (UK), Gulli (France) and Super RTL (Germany).

ER holds the worldwide television distribution rights (excluding Japan and North America) covering television distribution across both free and pay TV platforms for the series, which premiered to ratings success on Cartoon Network in the U.S.
