Corus Releases Quarterly Results, Announces Shareholder Dividend
Canadian entertainment and media company Corus Entertainment today made several announcements centered around the company’s financial performance, including the most recent quarterly results as well as the declaration of a shareholder dividend.
With regards to the 2nd quarter results, John Cassaday, the company’s president and CEO said, "We believe our results in the second quarter and the pacing we are enjoying in the third quarter indicate that the advertising recession is behind us. Corus' Specialty and Pay television categories and Ontario Radio sales are performing very well, and we are also benefiting from strong cost control which has allowed us to improve our margins."
