CMG Acquires Worldwide Sales Rights To Louis La Chance

Cinema Management Group has signed worldwide sales rights to $16 million 3-D/CGI feature animated film LOUIS LA CHANCE. Currently in production, LOUIS LA CHANCE is a hilarious, fast paced, action-packed animated feature set during the early years of the Monaco Grand Prix.

The film was developed by SHAX France's Hugues Sauvaire and Xavier Aliot. SHAX France is a production company specializing in 3-D animated feature-films founded in 2006 by Hugues Sauvaire and Xavier Aliot. SHAX is currently in production on an 85-minute animated 3-D CG film SARILA, working in collaboration with its Canadian and English partners 10th Avenue and CarpeDiem in Canada, as well as U.K. based Charactershop. LOUIS LA CHANCE is co-produced by LuxAnimation.

LOUIS LA CHANCE is the story of Louis and his scientist brother, Remi, who have developed a powerful new racing fuel with which they hope to win the 1934 Monaco Grand Prix. Their principal opponent in the race, the Baron Franz Borgstein, apparently caused the death of their race car driving father in the very first Monaco Grand Prix in 1929. But now, with their new fuel and their father's restored Bugatti, they will seek revenge and try to restore the La Chance family name.

Meanwhile, Borgstein's backer, the evil dictator Hash, has managed to steal the brothers' new fuel in order to bolster his secret missile program back home. After a series of comical mishaps involving deep-sea diving, a vindictive Monegasque lobster, and slap-stick galore, Louis recovers their fuel up in Hash's Alpine eagle's nest. But will our young heroes be able to return to Monaco in time for the start of the Grand Prix to win the race and save the day?

Key team members of SHAX France working on LOUIS LA CHANCE are: Hugues Sauvaire (Producer), Xavier Alliot (Director-Screenwriter), Philippe Leclerc (Director-Screenwriter), Houari Meschel (Production Coordinator), Matthieu Barbie (Studio Director), Pascal Ropars (Art Director-Screenwriter), and Andre Gervais (Historical Consultant).
