Family media company Big Idea will be at this week's Licensing Show 2002 in New York to announce THE BOB & LARRY MOVIE, its second animated feature film, currently in pre-production. The film tells the story of the popular VEGGIETALES characters Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber. Big Idea has already locked in many licensees for its first animated feature film, JONAH: A VEGGIETALES MOVIE, set for release on October 4, 2002 from Artisan's FHE Pictures. Blue Box will introduce a variety of JONAH toys including a pirate ship with figures and accessories, Jonah and Kahlil talking plush and a whale puppet plush with a Jonah figurine. ValuSoft will be releasing two Jonah-based CD-ROM games and Zondervan Publishing will release eight different activity and read-along books all inspired by the movie, several of which are tied to the home video release in 2003. Also at the Licensing Show, the company will be showcasing its VEGGIETALES franchise, the new LARRYBOY -- THE CARTOON ADVENTURES and the series 3-2-1 PENGUINS! which will soon be in wide release on home video.
