Les Lascars Making Its Way to Theaters

French 30x1 TV series LES LASCARS will be making a transition to the big screen, reports VARIETY. France's biggest-selling pop artist Diam's, Diane Krueger and Vincent Cassel will be lending their voices to the French version while L.A. rapper Fat Lip will be on the American version.

The 10 million Euros ($13.5 million) production will be distributed by Bac Films, which is part of Millimages. Canal Plus and France 2 are co-producing.

Albert Pereria Lazaro and Emmanuel Klotz are co-directing the film.

Tony (Cassel) and Jose (IZM) are best friends and petty crooks, but tension strikes the duo when Jose falls for the rich Clemence (Kruger) and wants to go straight. Diam's lends her voice to Jose's cousin, Jenny.
