This fall, Classic Media will release on DVD the all new animated feature, THE LEGEND OF FROSTY THE SNOWMAN. Burt Reynolds narrates the movie and sings the beloved title song. In addition, the film also stars Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants.
Doug Schwalbe, head of worldwide distribution at Classic Media, the New York-based entertainment company that is also home to LASSIE, THE LONE RANGER and the recently completed animated feature, PETER COTTONTAIL, THE MOVIE, will be representing the movie at MIP-TV in Cannes.
When Frosty blows into the perfect little town of Evergreen he is shocked to learn that fun is against the rules and theres absolutely, positively no talk of nonsense, tooth fairies, magic or mischief. Frosty soon helps the children of Evergreen rediscover the magical power of fun and play, as well as the courage to stand up for what is right.

THE LEGEND OF FROSTY THE SNOWMAN is written by Emmy-nominated Emily Kapnek (creator of Nickelodeons AS TOLD BY GINGER) and directed by award-winning director Greg Sullivan (Nickelodeons YAKKITY YAK). Classic Medias head of production and creative affairs, Evan Baily, produced along with Blair Peters and Kathy Antonsen-Rocchio. Classic Media chairman/ceo Eric Ellenbogen is exec producer.
