Learn How to Dig Those Rhythm & Hues FX

Experienced and aspiring professionals are invited to learn more about the ins and outs of blending CG character animation and live action at two presentations hosted by Oscar-winning FX house Rhythm & Hues Studios: June 12, 2003, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Los Angeles facility (5404 Janey Place) and June 21, 10:00 am-noon, at Ex'Pression Center for New Media in Emeryville, California. (6601 Shellmound St.).

A behind-the-scenes look at X-MEN 2 and DAREDEVIL will be discussed along with how to make CG stars (from BABE to CATS & DOGS to SCOOBY-DOO) and an overview of the best proprietary and off-the-shelf software programs currently used by the studio.

Jude Adamson (senior lighting technical advisor) and Anjelica Casillas (character development/producer/R&D) will explore both the pipeline and procedures used by artists at Rhythm & Hues. A recruiter will also be on hand to answer questions.
