Last Minute Entries Wanted for First “MoTV Awards” at NATPE Mobile ++

Hosted by iHollywood Forum, Inc., Fun Little Movies (FLM) and NeTV the winners of the first MoTV Awards will be announced at NATPE Mobile ++ on Jan. 23, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 5:30 pm in the Mandalay Bay resort. Film and TV comedy star Eddie Griffin (DEUCE BIGALOW, EUROPEAN GIGOLO) will present the Fun Little Movies Award for Best Comedy.

Filmmakers or animators can still participate by submitting their short films (10 seconds to 10 minutes in length) to www.mobilemediafest.com.There is a $35 entry fee, $25 for students.

The MoTV Awards are made possible through the support of the Official Co-Sponsors Quick Play and Mobile Media. The awards recognize and reward outstanding achievement in mobile TV and animation created by independent artists. Awards will be granted in the following categories: Best Mobile Content, Audience choice Award and the Fun Little Movies Award for Best Comedy. The influential audience, comprised of television and wireless content executives, will determine the Audience Choice and Fun Little Movies Award for Best Comedy via live SMS voting.

All winners receive a suite of mobile video encoding products (Neros Showtime 7 software) from NERO, a copy of Movie Magic screenwriting software, a ZVUE MP4 player from Handheld Ent. and complimentary website hosting from NeTV. Additionally, the winner in the comedy category will receive a licensing contract from Fun Little Movies providing for royalties and worldwide distribution of their film, and a portable media device courtesy of OOH! TV.

Judges will be looking for creativity, originality, technical clarity, and most importantly, the potential to be developed into a mobile series.
