VARIETY reports that Paramount has decided to jump on the 3-D conversion bandwagon and transform THE LAST AIRBENDER into stereoscopic. The M. Night Shyamalan adaptation of the Nickelodeon hit series is set to hit theaters July 2nd.

The move is not as last minute as one might fear. The studio has been secretly working with Stereo D to convert the film for more than a year. Rumors say the conversion is costing between $5-10 million.
