Mila Kunis and Adam Scott are in talks to take roles in Seth MacFarlane's live-action feature debut TED, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Mark Wahlberg was previously announced as MacFarlane's choice to play a grown man whose childhood teddy bear comes to life and still remains his best friend. MacFarlane will voice the foul-mouthed Ted.
Kunis would play Wahlberg's girlfriend, who gets wooed away by her jerky boss (Scott).
Media Rights Capital is funding the project with MacFarlane, Scott Stuber, John Jacobs and MRC producing.
Peter Cramer, Universal’s sevp of production, and Sara Scott are shepherding for the studio.
