Kristin Lowe has been promoted to vp, production, Universal Pictures, overseeing the day-to-day production activities for many of the studio's most anticipated films, including CHILDREN OF MEN, THE KINGDOM and BREACH.
Lowe joined Universal Pictures in 2004 as director of development, following a stint as director of development at Warner Bros. Pictures, She joined WB in 2002 as a creative exec after posts both at MGM and Michael Bay Films.
"Kristin is a valued member of our team, and she has made significant contributions to the success of the movies she's been involved with," said Donna Langley, president, production, Universal Pictures. "I am glad to acknowledge her accomplishments with this new title, and look forward to her continued influence at Universal Pictures."
Lowe previous projects for Universal have included INSIDE MAN, THE BREAK-UP and YOU, ME AND DUPREE.
