Michael McGahey joins Klasky Csupo as svp, feature film development.
Klasky Csupo founders Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo jointly stated, We are thrilled to have someone of Michaels knowledge and expertise join our company at this time. He comes to us with excellent taste for the commercial market and he will work with our current development team on our features projects in development with Viacom.
McGahey was vp at Deep River Prods. He has worked on the development and production on the following films: DR. DOLITTLE (Fox), HERE ON EARTH (Fox 2000), BIG MOMMAS HOUSE (Fox/New Regency), LAWS OF ATTRACTION (New Line), THE HONEYMOONERS (Paramount), BIG MOMMAS HOUSE 2 (Fox/New Regency) and DUANE HOPWOOD (Big Beach Films).
Prior to Deep River Prods., he was director of development for David T. Friendlys Friendly Production. McGahey began his career at the William Morris Agency.
McGahey will join the development team which includes: Daniel Paul, svp of development; Alexandra Book, svp of childrens development and Brandon Scott, who has been upped to vp of creative affairs. Scott has spent the past six years at Klasky and has also worked at Tracy Kramers Toltec Artists.
