Kim Possible Comes To Life At Possible Worlds

New York basedPossible Worlds shares more than part of their name with Disney'slatest creation KIM POSSIBLE. The interactive animation studio hasturned the animated crime-fighting teenager into a live animatedcharacter through the use of their proprietary software, Kabuki.Disney's KIM POSSIBLE series debuted June 7, 2002 on the DisneyChannel, and the "live" Kim gave her first performance during aSatellite Media Tour broadcast from New York on June 12. Newscastersand celebrities throughout the U.S. were able to hook into the livetransmission and interview Kim about the debut of her show and herongoing animated adventures. It's possible that Kim will have moreinterviews later this summer, including several nationally broadcasttalk shows. Kabuki, Possible Worlds' patent pending software,produces the live cartoon programming by taking animation cel assetsand assembling them into a performable database, creating a kind ofdigital actor. Cartoon characters are then puppeteered to performlive for broadcast, conferences and other entertainment venues.Lip-synch is driven by a real-time, voice-activation system.
