Lisbon, Toronto -- Big Storm Studios, a leading Portuguese family entertainment group and Canadian content aggregator Kidobi, today announced a new digital distribution agreement.

The agreement gives the pre-school targeted streaming video platform digital and VoD rights for the newly launched preschool series Gombby’s Green Island (52 x 13 mins), with immediate effect. With the addition of Gombby’s Green Island to its extensive content library, Kidobi will be offering the North American premiere of this unique property to their subscriber base.

Gombby's Green Island revolves around Gombby, a little baker boy, and his friends Strawy and Celeste as they investigate all sorts of mysteries and search for the rainbow's end on Green Island, and meet up with Gadget Man, who entertains them with his endless inventions. Gombby’s Green Island builds children’s general knowledge and gives them confidence to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Big Storm Studios joins other top producers and distributors of preschool content in embracing Kidobi’s unique online distribution platform. “Gombby’s Green Island was conceived and created as multi-platform content from the very start and so we are thrilled to be partnering with Kidobi in this innovative digital platform so appreciated by parents and pre-schoolers alike.” said Ruben Dias, Chief Executive Officer for Big Storm Studios.
