Ken Ward Joins Mind Candy

Mind Candy, the entertainment company behind global kids phenomenon Moshi Monsters, announced the appointment of former Playfish exec Ken Ward to its newly formed role of Director of Talent.

Mind Candy, the entertainment company behind global kids phenomenon Moshi Monsters, announced the appointment of former Playfish exec Ken Ward to its newly formed role of Director of Talent. Ken is responsible for the direction and management of the internal recruitment team as well as focusing on building Mind Candy’s employment brand and talent acquisition strategy.

Ken has extensive experience working within the technology and recruitment industry. Prior to Mind Candy he was People Operations Director at Playfish from September 2009. His time at the company was before its acquisition by Electronic Arts and during his two and a half years he led the team that helped grow the Playfish headcount by 400%.

Ken's prior experience covers new media, financial services and telecommunications, as well as substantial experience in recruitment agency and search.  Previous roles included Staffing Consultant at Skype where he led the recruitment for business development in UK, Luxembourg and Singapore, and a Recruiter at Barclay’s Wealth Management, managing the operations recruitment capability. He has also worked for companies including Spherion IT, Capital Consulting and Northern Trust.
