Kelly Flock To Drive THQ Global Product Strategy, Sales, Marketing

Kelly Flock is joining THQ Inc. in the newly created position of evp of worldwide publishing, overseeing product strategy, marketing and sales.

Flock has more than two decades of publishing, sales, marketing and licensing experience in the videogame industry, having served as president/ceo of Sony Online Ent., president of 989 Studios and president of Sony Interactive Studios America. Flock also was gm of LucasArts Ent. Co. where he managed the game division of Lucasfilm Ltd.

Kelly has a proven record of bringing innovative products to market and building strong franchises, said Brian Farrell, president/ceo of THQ to whom Flock will report. His experience and expertise will complement and add to a strong management team that has built THQ into a leading video game publisher. I am confident Kelly will play a key role in driving our continued growth and success.

Ive been following THQ with great interest since the late 90s, and have been very impressed by the companys success with both licensed product and original intellectual properties, Flock said.
