Kellogg Brings Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire Into the Cereal Aisle

Disney has announced the signing of a licensing deal with Kellogg Company, the worlds leading producer of cereal and convenience foods. Available nationwide beginning in May 2001, the adventure of Disney's ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE will come to life through Kellogg's licensed cereal, free package inserts, free mail-in offers and interactive Website. Atlantean Diving Water Toys will be available in 25 million packages of Kellogg's range of products. A "Search for the Journal," ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE prequel CD-Rom mail-in offer will appear on 75 million Kellogg's cereal packages. There will also be three million "Search for the Journal" CD-ROMs distributed directly on packages of Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal. Kelloggs ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE Website (www.atlantisadventure.com) will allow kids to send coded Atlantean messages and play an ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE game. Set in 1914, ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE follows the adventures of Milo Thatch (voice of Michael J. Fox), an inexperienced young museum cartographer, as he joins with a mysterious Captain and a diverse group of daredevil explorers to find the lost empire. The movie opens nationwide June 15, 2001.
