KB Toys announced its annual Hot Toy List for holiday 2005, featuring a wide selection of the season's "must have" toys. Four animated or visual effects franchises BARBIE AND THE MAGIC PEGASUS, BATMAN, CINERELLA and FANTASTIC 4 made the lists in general. Three specific STAR WARS items also made the list as well as the audio BRATZ CD.

BARBIE AND THE MAGIC OF PEGASUS is an upcoming 3D direct-to-video, which will host a whole line of tie-in products. The BATMAN BEGINS, FANTASTIC 4 and STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH live-action features and the recent DVD release of CINDERELLA have made those franchises hot.
