Warner Home Video (WHV) has announced the release of the new animated feature KANGAROO JACK G'DAY U.S.A.!, based on the surprise 2003 box office live-action hit. Price at $24.98 on DVD and $14.94 on VHS, the movie will arrive in stores Nov. 16, 2004.

"We are thrilled to be part of Kangaroo Jack's transition onto animation, said Christine Martinez, WHV vp, non-theatrical franchise marketing. His wonderful character lends itself well to this genre, which gives KANGAROO JACK the potential to grow into a successful home entertainment franchise. We anticipate that KANGAROO JACK G'DAY U.S.A.! will have a strong reception by the public on Nov. 16 given last year's success of KANGAROO JACK both during its theatrical run and its debut on DVD and VHS."

This sequel to the live-action film was written by Andrew and Adam Scheinman, who wrote the original theatrical release. The flick follows Louis, Charlie and Jessie as they head to Australia in search of a new shampoo recipe and land right into the pouch of their old friend Kangaroo Jack, who is kidnapped by poachers who take him to Las Vegas, where they find themselves embroiled in an Aboriginal jewel heist.
