ampm's Secret Menu Spot

Press Release from jumP LA

Now there's another reason for people to fill their stomachs at ampm with too much good stuff, thanks to a hilarious campaign cut by jumP LA's Bob Mori. Collaborating with Company Films Director David McNally via Ogilvy West, jumP helped the convenience store chain launch a new campaign about ampm's Secret Menu, which invites customers to create their own concoctions with limitless possibilities. Asking "What will you create?" the campaign utilized Facebook social media allowing customers to share their creations with the world.

Towering Inferno stars a trio of customers coming from a basketball competition, though the only real contest is to see who can produce the more unique dish. One creates the Hot Chihuahua, a hot dog festooned with nacho cheese, jalapeños, and onions. His companion outdoes him with the Cracklin' Firelog, a dog decorated with barbeque chips and hot sauce. The two collectively rib their "short-stack" companion, condescendingly requesting to see his creation. He silences their sarcasm, however, when he hoists the Towering Inferno - a behemoth of three burgers, spicy Cheetos, chili and nacho cheese - skyward.

Secret Menu possibilities may be endless, however, as displayed in Glazed & Amazed. When a cop is hypnotized by a young customer's glazed doughnut sandwiched around a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. He mentions that its "minus-the-croissant" because he's watching his weight! The dizzy cop is surrounded by a jumP-created psychedelic hallucination of enjoyment. When he emerges from his altered state, the officer promises the young man that he's watching him.
