Former international toy company and Kidscreen exec to lead acquisition of third-party content for Portfolio’s distribution catalogue of kids programming.
TORONTO, ON – International, Distributor Portfolio Entertainment, announced the appointment of Jonathan Abraham to the position of Director of International Sales and Acquisitions effective immediately.
Abraham will be responsible for selling Portfolio’s original programs internationally and for guiding the strategic growth of the company’s distribution division. In his role, Abraham will also be charged with acquiring third-party content for Portfolio’s distribution catalogue of kids, factual and lifestyle programming. Abraham will be based out of Portfolio’s offices in Toronto and will report directly into Joy Rosen, CEO and Co-Founder of Portfolio Entertainment.
Abraham comes to Portfolio from international toy company Zuru Ltd. where he served as the International Sales and Marketing Manager in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Abraham was an Account Manager at Brunico Communications (Kidscreen). He has also held sales positions at 9 Story Entertainment, Spin Master and Shaw Media.
