The Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning is lookingfor an Assistant Professor of Design, Digital Design for September 2000.The School of Design is composed of six programs: Graduate Studies inDesign; Digital Design; Fashion Design; Product Development andMerchandising; Graphic Design; and Industrial Design. Undergraduatestudents earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design in a five yearco-operative education program. There are approximately six hundred designmajors in the School and 25 full-time faculty. The programs in the Schoolare highly ranked nationally and internationally. Faculty in the School arecommitted to excellence in design education within each discipline. Jobbenefits: Salary is commensurate with experience. Job requirement/skills:The successful candidate will have a primary focus in digital design. Thisposition will require the ability to work with a diverse andmulti-disciplinary faculty in order to develop a teaching and researchthrust related to one or more of the following: design methodology,interactive multimedia, networked communications, 2D and 3D imaging, and 3Danimation & special effects. Successful candidates must have completed aMasters Degree in a relevant design discipline; have teaching andprofessional experience, and demonstrate outstanding design researchpotential.
