Cable marketing veteran Joanna Lisanti has been named VP of Marketing for kids TV and online entertainment service qubo. In this role, Lisanti will oversee all aspects of ad sales, affiliate and consumer marketing, and will help build awareness of qubo's on-air and online program offerings that promote literacy, positive values and the possibilities of a child's imagination.
Lisanti has been managing marketing efforts for qubo in a consulting capacity for the past year. Prior to qubo, Lisanti served as a producer at C2 Creative, supporting various cable Upfront presentations. She also worked for more than a decade at Viacom, providing marketing support for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, VH1 and Viacom corporate.
The qubo Channel is broadcast in both English and Spanish and is available in all markets served by an ION Television station, as well as via Verizon's FIOS TV, AT&T's U-Verse, Mediacom and Comcast.
