Chello Zone announces the launch of its seventh feed of children’s favourite, JimJam, to cover the Benelux region.

London, UK --

Leading international broadcaster, Chello Zone, announced the launch of its seventh feed of children’s favourite, JimJam, to cover the Benelux region.  This is the fourth localised version of the channel and will be dedicated to Dutch speaking viewers.

On air from March, the channel – which shows children’s classics such as Bob The Builder, Jakers: The Adventures of Piggley Winks, and Angelina Ballerina – will be transmitted via its platform partners in Belgium and the Netherlands including Ziggo, UPC Nederland, CAIW Media, Glashart Media and Delta Kabelcomfort, with further operators in discussion to take the feed in due course.

The latest feed will show all the channel’s best loved titles including Thomas and Friends – with a CGI series premiering in the region in May, plus new series of Barney and Friends and Bob The Builder, in the local language.  New titles have also been acquired especially for the market, with series of Miffy & Friends, Frog and Friends and Paz on air from March.

Louise Cottrell, VP Affiliate Sales, says JimJam continues to enjoy great global expansion due to our extremely popular line-up of stimulating and trusted quality programming. JimJam offers unrivalled access to some of the world’s best loved kids TV and we’re confident the new and enhanced Benelux  feed will prove to be even more popular with audiences across Benelux.”

Chello DMC, the international provider of advanced playout and content management solutions, will provide the media handling and distribution services of the dedicated feed.
