Jetix Europes consumer products division, JCP, announced that it has appointed Hasbro as the master toy licensee for its latest animated urban action series with a working title of THE INSIDERS. The first consumer products and the toy line will be launched in autumn 2005, with more extensive lines to follow in 2006.
THE INSIDERS is a co-production between Jetix Europe and the French production company, SIP Animation. Designed to appeal to boys 6 9, the series follows a rebellious teen team and their encounters with the evil Mr. Pain. The series joins Jetix Europes portfolio of programs, serviced by Buena Vista International Television, and is expected to debut on major terrestrial networks, as well as on Jetix Europe channels and branded blocks in the second half of 2005.
