Jeff Olsen Named Vice President, Adult Swim Digital and Games

Jeff Olsen has been promoted to the newly-created position of vice president, Adult Swim Digital and Games, it was announced today by Paul Condolora, senior vice president, Digital for Turner Broadcasting System Inc.'s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media Group.

Jeff Olsen has been promoted to the newly-created position of vice president, Adult Swim Digital and Games, it was announced today by Paul Condolora, senior vice president, Digital for Turner Broadcasting System Inc.'s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media Group.  In his new role, Olsen will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of AdultSwim.com along with additional responsibilities for Adult Swim Games on iPhone and other digital platforms.  Olsen is based in Atlanta and reports directly to Condolora.

"Jeff's creativity, dedication and strong business instinct have been invaluable to our digital efforts," said Condolora.  "We are excited for him to have the opportunity to make even greater contributions in the future."

Previously, Olsen served as the Creative Director of AdultSwim.com.  He began his career at Turner as a senior writer/producer with Cartoon Network's On-Air department in 2000.  In 2004, Olsen moved to Adult Swim, where he was a co-creator of the original series Stroker & Hoop, and in 2006 was promoted to Creative Director of Adultswim.com.  In this role Olsen built a strong team that has transformed the site and driven traffic increases across all metrics, including a more than 300% increase in gameplays and 600% increase in video plays.  He also led the creation of Adult Swim Games, which has launched popular original titles such as 5 Minutes to Kill (Yourself), Amateur Surgeon and recent internet phenomenon, Robot Unicorn Attack.  

Olsen earned a bachelor's of arts degree in economics from Middlebury College in Vermont.
