Press release from Jazwares:

Sunrise, FL –– Jazwares announced today that it has been awarded the master toy license for Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award-nominated series Regular Show. Regular Show isthe hit animated comedy following best friends Mordecai, a six-foot-tall Blue Jay and Rigby, a hyperactive raccoon on their adventurous journeys as irresponsible (and often misbehaved) groundskeepers at a park. This marks the second Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) license for Jazwares, who currently holds the master toy rights for the network’s popular animated series, Adventure Time.

“We received a tremendous response from fans surrounding the release of Adventure Time toys in 2011, and we are looking forward to expanding our relationship with Cartoon Network to include Regular Show plush, figures and novelty items in 2012,” said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president sales, Jazwares. “Fans can expect Jazwares’ Regular Show toys to be as witty, mischievous and eccentric as the series’ characters themselves.”

Jazwares’ Regular Show line will include clever pull-string plush with sound, as well as figures with humorous and interactive features. Jazwares will also release a line of Regular Show novelty items, including sunglasses and pullback vehicles. The entire line, including plush, figures and novelty items, will be available starting fall 2012, and will retail between $6.99 and $29.99.

"Cartoon Network is redefining comedy for a new generation of kids from both a programming and consumer products perspective," said Pete Yoder, vice president, consumer products for CNE. "Building on the success we've had with Jazwares on the Adventure Time toy line, we're so proud to release toys based on the unique voice and characters from Regular Show that fans are sure to love."

Following its premiere in September 2010, Regular Show became an instant hit, ranking #1 in its time period among all key boy demographics across all of television, according to Nielsen Media Research. In its first year, Regular Show was nominated for an Emmy Award, Annie Award and two BAFTA Awards. A fourth season of the popular series was announced in October 2011 and new episodes air on Cartoon Network on Monday nights at 8:15 p.m. (ET/PT).
