Japan’s David Production Seeking Co-Production Deals

David Production heads to MIPCOM, seeking new partners for co-production opportunities.

‘JoJo's Bizarre Adventure’ Tokyo, Japan -- David Production, a subsidiary of Fuji Television Network, announced its participation at MIPCOM 2014, looking for co-production opportunities with high merchandising potential.

David Production has worked on highly popular properties such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Inu X Boku Secret ServiceBen-ToLevel EThe Book of Bantorra, Ristorante Paradiso, and Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. The company also produced the Baby Superman short with Warner Bros. Animation and the Shinonome no Sora ni advertisement short for the Mitsui Fudosan Residential Company in 2012.

On August 1, 2014, David Production became affiliated to Fuji Television Network, Inc. Fuji TV has positioned animation as a vital pillar of its content, due to its high multi-faceted business development potential. Under this strategic vision, having David Production that boasts proven superior capability in the development and production of content as an affiliated company, David Production and Fuji TV intend to further enhance their animation business foundation and accelerate global business development.

During MIPCOM, the studio is interested in meeting international partners to embark on new co-production projects, including their gaming and toy development. Mr. Taito Okiura, Co-founder, President and CEO at David Production, along with Ms Akira Yamaguchi, Consultant-Founder at Sun Bridge, will be attending MIPCOM from October 13 to 16, 2014.
