iXL Gains New Exec Producer & Senior F/X Artist

The iXL Digital Video Group, New York, a graphic design and visual effects company, has added Robin Horlick as executive producer and Doug Dimon as senior visual effects artist. Horlick joins iXL following four years as director of sales/executive producer at Sony Music Studios, New York. During her career in television production she has won an Emmy, Peabody and BDA awards. "I am very excited to be a part of iXL, not only is it home to very talented effects artists involved in numerous high-end projects," said Horlick, "but also because of the company's Internet and new media foundation, iXL is extremely well-positioned for the emergence of broadband." Prior to joining iXL, Dimon was a senior visual effects artist and designer at Sony Music Studios. He began his career at RVI, where he worked on such films as SENSE & SENSIBILITY and Woody Allen's EVERYBODY SAYS I LOVE YOU. "The Digital Video Group is developing a skill-set that will lend itself to broadband. iXL wisely recognizes that the skills possessed by broadcast designers and effects artists are going to be in high demand in the near future.
