ITV Announces Management Structure For Global Division

Gustavo Antonioni has announced the first appointments in his management team prior to joining ITV's Global arm as Commercial Brands Director on July 14, 2008.

Antonioni will report to Peter Iacono, President and Managing Director ITV Worldwide, with a dotted line to David Pemsel, Group Marketing Director, ITV. He will be responsible for driving the global marketing and licensing strategy for ITV's key commercial brands, working closely with ITV plc's marketing team.

Antonioni will oversee the global marketing team, as well as the brand management and merchandise and licensing teams. Caroline Stott has been appointed Director of Global Marketing Services. She will oversee the marketing team, which will include the newly created roles of Head of Content Marketing and Head of Global Marketing Services, as well as Events and International Research and Development.

Antonioni's global team will work alongside David Pemsel's group marketing team to continue the development of, and ensure consistency across ITV's marketing strategy for programming, platforms and franchise brands.

Melanie Beer has been appointed Director of Merchandise & Licensing, and will head up the licensing team. Julie Quirke has been appointed Head of International Licensing and will report into Beer.

Giles Ridge has been named as Head of Brand and Product Development and Claire Murphy has been appointed Director of Commercial Sports Services.

ITV is actively recruiting for a number of positions within these teams, with a view to getting most people in post by end of July.

Led by Peter Iacono, ITV Worldwide is the newly formed division of ITV combining the recently merged Granada International and Granada Ventures businesses. ITV Worldwide is the global distribution arm for ITV's theatrical, video, TV, publishing, consumer products and international networks.

Granada International sells thousands of hours of programming from ITV Productions and many other independent producers, to more than 200 countries worldwide. Granada Ventures currently works with 300 licensees throughout 70 countries.

ITV Worldwide is part of ITV Global Content which brings together all of ITV's UK and international production and content businesses.
