itty bitty HeartBeats Signs New Licensing Partners

LevyMann Entertainment, the creator and producers behind the childrens animated series, ITTY BITTY HEARTBEATS, have teamed up with new licensee partners Franco Manufacturing, Baby Boom Consumer Products, Wiesner Products and Waterbury Garments for several new lines of itty bitty products.

These new licensees add to their deals in place with StudioWorks Ent. (Ventura Video), Fruit of the Loom and Penguin Books, which is releasing three new ITTY BITTY HEARTBEATS titles.

Baby Boom Consumer Products will create fluffy itty bitty HeartBeats cuddle pillows, while Franco Manufacturing has signed on to license itty bitty HeartBeats bedding including sheets, comforters, bedspreads, quilts, drapes, curtains, dust ruffles, valances, pillowcases, bed pillows, decorative pillows, doorknob pillows, backrest/bedrest/husband pillows, blankets and throws. It will also have beach towels, totes, sand chairs, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, wash mitts, bath accessories, bath rugs and vinyl placements. Wiesner Products will license all footwear and slipper socks, while Waterbury Garments will produce sleepwear, including two-piece pajama sets, sleep pants, robes, blanket sleepers, nightgowns and nightshirts.

These new license deals follow that of a five-year joint venture with New York-based Grosset & Dunlap, a division of Penguin Young Readers Group, to produce a new line of childrens books based on the series. A SURPRISE FOR SWEETHEART and ITTY BITTY HEARTBEATS: WELCOME TO HEARTLAND were released on Dec. 27, 2004. A third book, FRIENDS FROM THE HEART: COLORING BOOK AND CRAYONS, will be available Jan. 7, 2005. These books are available at www.walmart.com and www.amazon.com.

In a three-year deal, Fruit of the Loom will manufacture itty bitty HeartBeats undergarments to include toddler boys and girls underwear, adolescent boys and girls underwear, to be distributed in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The itty bitty HeartBeats product package includes two colorful plush characters from the series, a CD featuring the original songs from the episodes, and a video of four 11-minute episodes of ITTY BITTY HEARTBEATS animated series. This combo package is available exclusively at Toys R Us stores, while the DVDs are available at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Amazon.com, and other retail spaces nationwide.
