It’s MegaMay and MegaMan Jackpot Sweepstakes at Kids’ WB!

Kids' WB! Call this month MegaMay with the return of the futuristic-adventure series MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR to its Saturday morning lineup as of May 1, 2004 (10:30 am ET/9:30 am PT), teaming up with anime smash-hits POKÉMON: ADVANCED and YU-GI-OH!: ENTER THE SHADOW REALM. The second season of the cyber-saga has 26 energetically charged original episodes from ShoPro Ent. In conjunction with its Saturday morning premiere, the series also will highlight Kids' WB!'s weekday lineup with original episodes from May 3 through Friday May 7 at 3:30 pm.

To celebrate MEGAMAN NT WARRIORs return to Kids' WB!'s Saturday morning lineup, the network is joining forces with Capcom and Mattel for the "Kids' WB! Mega Backlot Jackpot Sweepstakes." On May 1, kids will need to watch the second season premiere of MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR to discover where on the Kids' WB! Backlot the Mega Jackpot is hidden. The "Kids' WB! Mega Backlot Jackpot Sweepstakes" will award one mega prize winner with the entire Capcom library of all seven MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK video games, including the soon-to-be-released MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK 4: RED SUN and the MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK 4: Blue Moon versions for GameBoy Advance, a GameBoy Advance SP system and a Mattel action figure.

Kids may also win 500 first-prize cyber-warriors with a mega-jackpot comprised of the MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK 4: RED SUN or the MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK 4: Blue Moon version for GameBoy Advance and a Mattel action figure. To be eligible to win, kids can log onto www.KidsWB.com or send in a postcard postmarked by May 3. In addition, kids can also go online to www.KidsWB.com to access downloadables and join the cyber-world adventure in the new MegaMan NT Warrior NetBattle voting game.

"The first season of MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR truly resonated with our audience, outperforming all competitors in our core demo, said John Hardman, svp, Kids' WB! programming. "Kids' WB! is proud to offer its audience an exhilarating anime block of programming as MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR joins our top-rated line-up between POKÉMON: ADVANCED and YU-GI-OH!: ENTER THE SHADOW REALM."

MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR premiered on Kids' WB on May 17, 2003, debuting as the #2 overall program among boys 6-11, and ranked #1 against the broadcast competition in kids 2-11 and kids 6-11. The summer addition of MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR to Kids' WB!'s Saturday morning lineup gave the 9:30 am ET/8:30 am PT time period a boost among boys 2-11 (+13.9%), boys 6-11 (+15.2%), and tweens (+17.9%) versus the equivalent time period in 2002.

MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR is set in the year 200X, where virtually all technology is linked to a central computer system. Citizens interface with this network using their personal "NetNavis" (Net Navigators) accessed via their personal terminals (PETs). Kids and their families must interact with rapidly progressive technology, while threatened by hackers and high-tech computer crimes. The responsibility to save the computer-generated world and protect their town falls upon Tech-savvy Lan and his NetNavi, MegaMan, are net-warriors united to save the computer-generated world and expose the darkness within their digital universe.
