DreamWorks are in talks to adapt animated web series XOMBIE into a feature, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Writer Will Beall is pitching the project, which is based on James Farr's comic/web series that follows a zombie cop who protects a young girl from a world filled with evil zombies. STAR TREK writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are in line to produce. Epic Level Ent.'s Cindi Rice and John Frank Rosenblum, along with Bobby Cohen and Steven T. Puri, would exec produce.
