Sega's Virtua Tennis 2009 Ready for Wii Motion Plus

Press Release from SEGA of America, Inc.

SAN FRANCISCO (April 14, 2009) -- SEGA of America, Inc. today announced that VIRTUA TENNIS 2009 will support the new Wii MotionPlus feature. This means that for the first time Nintendo Wii system owners will be able to experience the thrill of real tennis by holding the Wii Remote like a tennis racket. The Wii MotionPlus feature will let players hit left and right by swinging the Wii Remote in that direction. Performing lobs and slice shots is as simple as mimicking the real-life technique.

VIRTUA TENNIS 2009 is due for release on next generation consoles spring 2009. Further information relating to the content of the game will be available over the coming months from the official website of the game -- www.virtuatennis2009.com.
