David van Eyssen has been a pioneer in new media since 1994 when he established Eagle Peak Interactive to develop live-action and animated entertainment properties with interactivity. Eagle Peak’s projects included the first interactive version of Fritz Lang’s classic feature-film “M” and “Cryogenia” featuring veteran actor Christopher Lee.

For the past decade, as an award-winning creative working in the crossover between new media, advertising, and traditional media, van Eyssen is widely recognized to have broken new artistic and commercial ground. Among the many projects he has been involved in, BMW Films “The Hire” is widely regarded as the benchmark in branded entertainment.

Since 2008, van Eyssen has developed unique properties that change the relationship between content and audience and disrupt the traditional economics of the entertainment industry including “Thirteen”, a breakthrough merger of voter-driven interactivity and scripted drama. Bringing together Pepsi, Paramount and MySpace in 2009, van Eyssen produced the successful online series, “Circle of Ei8ht” which delivered over 30 million viewing minutes in a five week window and was subsequently distributed in major home entertainment channels.
