Social media gaming firm Zynga has added Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks Animation CEO, to its board of directors, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Katzenberg joins: Owen Van Natta, former MySpace CEO; Reid Hoffman of LinkedIn; Bing Gordon; Brad Feld; and Mark Pincus, Zynga founder and CEO.

This move comes as Zynga has been aggressively teaming with film, TV networks and music firms to cross promote their projects. For example, DreamWorks' MEGAMIND found its way to Zynga's FARMVILLE.
