ParaNorman

Over two years in the making, Focus Features’ ParaNorman is one of the year’s most honored achievements in animated artistry. The stop-motion animated feature has won numerous Best Animated Feature Film awards, along with two Annie Awards in the categories of Character Animation & Design, as well as nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, five VES Awards and a GLAAD Media Award.

Created at Portland, Oregon’s LAIKA Studios, ParaNorman is the result of over 320 talented animators, designers, artists, and technicians who came together to hand-craft one of the year’s most original animated features.

In support of its bid for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars this year, Focus Features has released an interactive booklet providing a closer look at the members of the filmmaking team and their handiwork. Take a trip to Blithe Hollow with clips from the film, video interviews with the artists, slideshows, and music from the soundtrack. There’s also a free, downloadable PDF filled with glossy photos.
