HEAVY METAL 2000 co-creator and illustrator Kevin Eastman has inked a content deal with TheThreshold.com. No monetary details were released. Threshold Entertainment’s CEO and chairman, Larry Kasanoff told the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, "Kevin is an incredible creator and entrepreneur. We’d want to be involved with him even if he didn’t have HEAVY METAL but HEAVY METAL is ripe with opportunity, talent and ideas. It’s extraordinary what it’s already accomplished, and we think it’s just the beginning." Eastman and Threshold are planning several sci-fi oriented projects. Eastman said, "We’ve been talking about all of the things we can do. We’ve got a lot of ideas, but we’re slowly narrowing down our options to the best ones."
