you should try ageooymys' Game Maker 7 Lite. It is VERY easy and its FREE. And best of all you DONT have to learn ANY programming language or C++ or anything like that. But there is an option to code your came IF YOU WANT. It takes a little getting used to but thats it. It is best for 2-D games, but you can make 3-D games too, but there not like free moving around and stuff like that .its more of the games where your running and you try to avoid things. Be sure to click on the 3-D tutorials link and go to the scaling tutorial. I really think you should try it. Be sure to take the tutorials on the site I give you, they will REALLY help. I'll also give you a link to the Game Maker Platform Engine. With this you can make games like the games in the Mario series. You can BUY two things for this. The first thing you can buy is the Full Game Maker 7. This lets you do many more things than you can do in the Lite version. And you can also buy the 3-D version. I don't have either the full version or the 3-D version, but I bet they are good. And I have been looking for a LONG time for a free 3-D game engine and I found a lot of stuff but here's the catch you have to code them all, which can be very hard. And I don't know if you know what I mean or not, because I dont know if 3-D animation gave you experience in coding. But sadly on the site you have to sign up to download it. But getting the accont is worth it. I'm sure you'll like it. But remember this is just my opinion, so I hope this is the best one for you.I hope you find what you want. But just remember, its not the BEST for 3-D games but I think for 2-D games its the best free one you can get!And as far as I know there are TONS of people that use this so be sure if you need help just ask it on yahoo answers and i bet youll find some help.
