Hacker Group Claims to Have Hacked Sony Online Again
Hacker group Lulz Security claims that it has breached SonyPictures.com, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The group says it has accessed over 1 million users' accounts. Sony Pictures Ent. said they are looking into the claims.
Lulz posted the claim on its website saying that it never fully copied the files, but took samples to prove their break in. The group said their goal was to reveal Sony's vulnerabilities.
This is the same group that claims it was the one that accessed the PBS website and posted a news item claiming that Tupac Shakur was found alive.
On June 2, Sony restored all PlayStation Network services in the Americas, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, excluding Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea, following the hacker attack in April that brought the network down.
