Press Release from Crossroads Films

Crossroads Films UK is delighted to announce Darren Lamb as their Head of Digital Content, underlining their expertise and commitment to the creation of on-line video content.

With a background that combines an in-depth knowledge of broadcast from stints producing shows for BBC1, ITV1, C4 and Five to creating on-line video content for major brands including Dove, Mercedes-Benz and Sainsbury's, Darren joins Crossroads with a mission to build on the company's world class reputation for creativity, production and delivery, positioning Crossroads centre stage in the digital content creation arena.

Darren's career has seen him write and produce for Chris Evans, Richard & Judy, Sir Terry Wogan and Johnny Vegas amongst others, as well as seeing him don the 'News Bunny' outfit for Live TV, being one of the eight people to witness the first ever Spice Girls TV appearance and writing weather reports for a trampolining midget.

Darren is keen to offer Creatives and Producers in the advertising industry a whole new raft of broadcast production skills, talent and economical ways of working through any budget.  Crossroads' Digital department recently scored a great success with a series of films for VCCP's 'L'Oreal - Expert' campaign (Dir: Russell Bates).

Darren added, "I am excited about turning brands into broadcasters and I think is this where a large part of digital content will head.  Brands and agencies have woken up to the power and economical savings that digital offers as we find more and more devices such as ipads, smart phones and interactive outdoor becoming an everyday part of our lives - the opportunity to engage, entertain and ultimately influence their consumer habits will fall more and more at the door of digital content creatives and creators.  I want Crossroads and our Directors to be the top of any list when agencies are considering who they should entrust with their next video content containing campaign."
