Innamation Films Gets 3D Animated on Family-Friendly Projects

Innamation Films revealed the new companys development slate of animated content for television and direct-to-video distribution, leading off with a full length, original animated property, THE CHRISTMAS RESCUE, about a trio of woodland friends that band together to save Christmas by finding Santa when he is swept off course during a storm. Other properties in development include a re-telling of LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD and GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS.

The use of 3D computer animation allows viewers to become part of the story by creating an entire world for them to enter, said Innamation Films president/producer/director Brian Panzer. Innamation is committed to producing family-friendly films that kids, parents, and grandparents can enjoy together. THE CHRISTMAS RESCUE will be our first signature piece, featuring beautiful animation, strong storytelling and, most of all, quality entertainment.

Panzer admitted that source material for other projects, the original Grimm Brothers fairy tales, can be pretty dark. Innamation will bring a unique storytelling style to the adaptation of these classic properties to ensure that they continue to be loved by children of all ages, he said.

In 2004, the company produced its first animated short, a 3D re-telling of GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS, which serves as the basis for the feature treatment. The short was an official selection of the CINEME International Animation Festival 2004.

Maple Park, Illinois-based Innamation Films was founded by Brain Panzer, an American Academy of Art graduate, in 2003 specializing in creating family-friendly 3D animation. Panzer had previously founded DARKMOON Studios, which had a focus on 3D animation, modeling and website design for corporate clientele.
