The Incredibles Makes PGA’s Picks for Best Picture

The Producers Guild of America included the animated feature, THE INCREDIBLES, amongst the nominees for its best picture award announced today. The other finalists this year for the Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year kudos are THE AVIATOR, MILLION DOLLAR BABY, FINDING NEVERLAND and SIDEWAYS. The awards will be presented at the Guild's annual awards dinner at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Jan. 22, 2005.

The PGA is the first of many guilds to announce their nominees this year. The DGA names its nominees Jan. 6, while the Writers Guild and the Screen Actors Guild will announce nominees next week.

The PGA nominees for long form television are ANGELS IN AMERICA, HORATIO HORNBLOWER, IKE, THE LION IN WINTER and SOMETHING THE LORD MADE.

Finalists for the Norman Felton trophy for episodic drama are CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, NIP/TUCK, SIX FEET UNDER, THE SOPRANOS and THE WEST WING.

Special honorees this year will be Jeffrey Katzenberg from DreamWorks, Terry Semel from Yahoo and producers Laura Ziskin and John Wells.
