Special information about film submissions for all SAFO '99 entrants...
On August 15, 1999 a major fire gutted the festival's office. Fortunately,many items needed to host SAFO 99 have been salvaged or replaced.Unfortunately, a number of items have been lost including all of theentrant notification letters regarding this year's Official Competition. Atthis stage, the festival organizers are not able to notify rejectedentrants. If you are unsure about the status of your film, please check theCompetition page on the SAFO website. If you're still not convinced, feelfree to give the festival a call (tel. 613-232-8769) or email them atsafo@ottawa.com. Finally, the festival phone and fax lines are workingnormally again!
