20th Century Fox Animation and producer Shawn Levy are planning a feature adaptation of Roger Hargreaves’ children's book series MR. MEN, according to The Hollywood Reporter. First published in 1971, Hargreaves' 48 MR. MEN books each contained a new character, such as Mr. Tickle, Mr. Happy, Mr. Greedy and Mr. Nosey. The books have spawned four animated TV series and sold 100 million copies worldwide. Levy will produce via his 21 Laps Ent. and is seeking a writer and director for the project.
