Held annually in the heart of Hollywood, the IFP Los Angeles Film Festival showcases the best of American and international independent cinema. With an attendance of more than 40,000, the festival screens over 200 narrative features, documentaries, shorts and music videos. The competitive section features recent U.S. narrative features, documentaries and shorts, while the International Showcase features full-length narratives and documentaries. The festival also screens high-school shorts and music videos. The submissions deadline for short films and music videos is February 20, 2004, while the deadline for full-length narrative and documentary features (U.S. and international) is March 1, 2004.
