IDT Ent. Sales will handle worldwide sales for its computer-generated animated feature film Yankee Irving, which it will begin selling at the American Film Market. The film set to be released in U.S. theaters in August 2006, by 20th Century Fox. The film features an all-star cast, including Rob Reiner, Whoopi Goldberg, William H. Macy, Brian Dennehy, Mandy Patinkin, Robert Wagner, Richard Kind, Raven-Symone, Dana Reeve, and Joe Torre and introduces Jake T. Austin, 10, as the voice of the title character.

YANKEE IRVING, originally directed by the late Christopher Reeve, is a comedic adventure about a boy who embarks on a cross-country adventure to help out his favorite sports hero. Along the way, he meets an eclectic, quirky array of characters that aid and encourage him on his comic journey.
YANKEE IRVING is in production at IDT Ent. Animations studio in Toronto. Animation veterans Daniel St. Pierre (SHARK TALE, TARZAN) and Colin Brady (LEMONY SNICKETS A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, HULK) are co-directors. Exec producers are Dana Reeve, Steve Brown, Morris Berger and Dan Krech. Ron Tippe (SPACE JAM) and Igor Khait (BROTHER BEAR, ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE) are producing. IDT Ent. Animation president Janet Healy (SHARK TALE, MULAN, DINOSAUR) and cco Jerry Davis (ROBOTS) are supervising the creative and production for the company. The film will be distributed domestically through IDT Ent.s recently announced multi-picture deal with 20th Century Fox.
