Los Angeles, CA -- International business development firm iartists is celebrating its first anniversary, launching into its second year with new clients: creative production company Shilo and digital behaviorists Modus Operandi across various disciplines including broadcast, advertising, digital and gaming.

iartists also welcomes Sheima Hassanlou as an associate agent to handle the West Coast General Market for the company’s award-winning roster of mixed-media studios.

Hassanlou brings a breadth of experience in creative production, project management, recruitment and representation of talent across the advertising landscape. Professionally self-dubbed “The Connector” for her expertise and dedication to creating new business relationships, Hassanlou bolsters iartists’ mission to connect high-end talent with advertising agencies and top brands from around the globe.

“Sheima is a natural connector and has great knowledge of mixed media, which is our area of expertise,” says Danixa Diaz, iartists Co-Founder/Executive Producer. “We are very excited to have her on board, leading the way and becoming a resource to agency creatives and producers in the West Coast.”

“I couldn’t be happier,” adds Hassanlou. “I feel like I’m right where I need to be – right here amidst all the action. Sometimes creative talent is expressed through connecting with others, and that’s where the magic happens.”

After double majoring in Film Production and Advertising, Hassanlou broke into the entertainment industry as an artist, launching her career as a promo editor and broadcast designer, followed by an art directing internship at Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

Emerging in the design, VFX and animation industry, she has held positions at iconic studios Imaginary Forces, Stardust, and most recently as Project Manager at BL:ND, where she worked with clients including DirecTV, Verizon, FX, and Sony. Hassanlou has also served in freelance producer roles at HAUS and Picture Mill.
